Each article counts once across its Chinese and English versions. Elapsed time measures calendar time since the recorded start, not continuous uptime or availability.
How to read these numbers
- PV counts successful browser loads of tracked site pages. Refreshes count again; machine visits, APIs, static files, redirects and error pages are excluded. Loads served entirely from the browser cache do not add a view. This visit will appear in the next snapshot.
- PV stores long-term aggregate counts by UTC+8 date, without visitor identifiers or page paths. The total does not decrease when visitor identifiers expire.
- Visitor counts are neither page views nor a count of people. With the same cookie, refreshing or visiting another page does not add to the total. Changing devices, clearing cookies or disabling them can create new identifiers.
- Browser and machine classification is approximate and based on declared client characteristics. Machine identifiers are deduplicated by a hash of the User-Agent; multiple clients with the same declaration are combined, so this is not a count of machines.
- Identifiers are retained for 730 days after their last visit; expired records are removed on subsequent visits. Retained totals can decrease and are not lifetime counts.
- This page publishes aggregate figures only, with no visitor identifiers or individual browsing records. The statistics database stores neither IP addresses nor raw User-Agent strings. Privacy policy →
